Co-Owner, Managing Member Bayou Education Partners Group is an education consulting, professional learning, and innovation company co-founded by Dr. Brandie Wolsefer and Dr. Kelly Pizani. Together, they bring extensive experience in special education, literacy, assessment, educational leadership, research, professional development, data-informed improvement, and systems-level support. Bayou Education Partners Group partners with schools, districts, educators, and leadership teams to strengthen academic, behavioral, and instructional systems through practical, research-based solutions. Services include professional development, instructional coaching, special education support, literacy and writing development, behavior and MTSS systems, educational assessment, data analysis, program evaluation, leadership development, and continuous improvement planning. A central part of their work is the Connected Writing Framework™, a structured instructional model designed to strengthen the connection between thinking, language, communication, writing, and reading. The framework guides students through five connected stages—Hear It, Think It, Say It, Write It, and Read It—while giving educators a consistent, practical structure that can be used across grade levels, content areas, intervention settings, and a wide range of student learning needs. Dr. Wolsefer and Dr. Pizani are also expanding the Connected Writing Framework™ into a digital software platform designed to support classroom implementation, monitor student progress, organize writing data, strengthen instructional fidelity, and help educators make targeted instructional decisions. The Connected Writing Framework™ is not another curriculum for schools to adopt. It is a structured instructional process that fits within the curriculum educators already teach, helping students move from understanding an idea to expressing it in writing. Its companion software platform is being designed to capture student responses throughout the process, identify where breakdowns occur, provide educators with actionable data, and support more targeted instruction—while keeping the teacher at the center of the learning process. Their work extends beyond individual school and district partnerships. Bayou Education Partners Group provides conference presentations, keynote sessions, breakout sessions, workshops, customized professional learning, and consulting services for schools, districts, educational organizations, and professional conferences. What began as a shared passion for firearms, education, and self-reliance has grown into a broader family venture focused on serving individuals who value knowledge, safety, quality, and informed decision-making. Blood River Patriots offers firearms-related products, ammunition, accessories, gunsmithing services, educational resources, training, and participation in gun shows and community events. Education is an important part of the Blood River Patriots mission. The goal is not simply to sell products, but to help customers better understand the equipment they own, the ammunition they choose, and the responsibility that comes with firearm ownership. The book was created to help everyday firearm owners better understand ammunition construction, cartridge selection, terminal performance, recoil, reliability, and other important factors involved in choosing defensive ammunition. Blood River Patriots is also continuing to expand its capabilities, including the development of boutique ammunition manufacturing and additional training and educational offerings.
